    University of Manitoba

Cradled in a bow of the Red River, the historic University of Manitoba’s Fort Garry campus welcomes you. The campus is located on the original lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and on the homeland of the Red River Métis Nation.

Immerse yourself in an intensive program to improve your oral and written English skills. Participate, along with international students, in engaging lessons, activities, and discussions. Discover prairie sunsets and hospitality, while making lifelong friends and connections in another part of Canada.

    Example activities:

    • Sociocultural and recreational activities
    • Outdoor excursions to cultural and historic sites
