The University of Ottawa campus is located in the heart of the nation’s capital, just across the river from Quebec. Destination Clic offers a unique summer program with courses in French language and Franco-Ontarian literature, as well as a wide range of activities that give you a “university” experience. In addition to numerous excursions, you can participate in workshops on topics ranging from theatre to creative writing, from sports to the arts.

L’École internationale de français (ÉIF) de l’UQTR has been offering French-language programs since 1974. The ÉIF has an experienced teaching staff and a team of inclusive, dedicated, and energetic monitors! Come and enjoy three weeks of cultural discovery and educational experiences in a 100-per-cent francophone environment. You’ll attend interactive, dynamic French classes every morning, as well as a variety of workshops (singing, dance, drama, outdoor activities, journaling, art, etc.) to help improve your French in a hands-on, fun, and stimulating context. The program also offers a wide array of sociocultural activities and amazing outings, from Quebec City to Montreal, including visits to a sugar shack, the old jail, and a dragon boat, as well as a weekend of outdoor activities! Each of these is an opportunity for personal growth and for making friends with other francophones from across Canada. Come and join us!
Located in the heart of Acadia, the Université de Moncton is steeped in Acadian history and culture. Workshops help participants discover the Acadian culture, with special emphasis on history. Many activities revolve around film, sports, theatre, literature, and music, and a number of excursions are organized to show off the region’s attractions.
Benefit from everything a large university has to offer in Canada’s economic capital in the safety of a tight knit community. You will develop your language skills in and out of the classroom on two university campuses and in the city. You will apply your language skills, expand your vocabulary and learn important life skills by participating in interactive workshops on financial literacy, leadership, urban geography, biology and a wide range of topics in the social sciences. You will also get to meet and interact with students from around the world. You will leave the program armed with confidence, language resources and lifelong friends.
Glendon’s Destination Clic program offers a francophone environment where participants can discover the richness of “la francophonie ontarienne” in Toronto, a predominantly anglophone city. Participants will quickly discover that living mainly in French is possible outside of Quebec!
