The EXPLORE Online Youth program at UBC, is an engaging student centered program designed for English-language learners between the ages of 13 and 15. EXPLORE participants learn and practise language skills (vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, etc.) in an inclusive environment and with a focus on collaborative learning.

Students from different parts of Canada will come together in online classes to improve their language skills and build their self-confidence in English fluency. Participants will study exciting themes such as digital literacy, global leadership, and sports and well-being, while exploring the rich culture and diverse communities of Canada’s west coast. 

In a supportive and enjoyable environment, learners immerse themselves in a transformative journey of experiential language learning, cultural discovery, and lasting friendships. The EXPLORE program at UBC consists of predominantly synchronous lessons supported by asynchronous learning. “Explore” with us at UBC!
